According to Article 37 of the Measures for the Administration of Registration and Filing of Cosmetics, if a product that has already been registered is no longer produced or imported, the registrant shall promptly cancel the registration on the cosmetics (toothpaste) registration and filing platform. The State Administration for Market Regulation's "Frequently Asked Questions on Cosmetics Supervision and Management (Part 4)" clearly states that products that apply for voluntary cancellation, if there is no violation of laws and regulations, and the relevant products that have been on the market before the cancellation of the filing information, can be sold until the end of their shelf life.
